Verano 2013 Turbo, packing 250 horsepower, 260 pound-feet of torque, and yes, available six-speed manual transmission. This is perhaps the most excited we were about Buick?
Turbo power to the Verano is you guessed it, General Motors 2.0-liter Exotic inline-four. Buick finds that the charged Vera on the sprint to 60 mph in just 6.2 seconds, and that more than 90 percent of engine torque available as low as 1700 RPM.
The Turbo model is packed with standard equipment, including all optional extras found in the leather and convenience of standard packages Verano. That means things such as heated leather surfaces on the seats and steering wheel, premium nine-speaker Bose audio system, sport pedals, dual exhaust and spoiler is standard, as well as Buick infotainment system.
Prices are close to the Verano Turbo on offer when announced later this year. Considering how well received standard car is, and how well we expect the new Turbo model, we must ask ourselves: Why buy a shelf these days / with such.
